The bark of logs from coniferous trees is mostly debarked in the stand or roadside. At terminal points, storages, and mills industrial debarking machines have been operated for timber, as well. In recent time chainsaw mounted apparatus (C-Debarker), axe, a new tool that brushcutter (B-Debarker) used peeling barks in-stand. Debarking process very time-consuming work phase within total unit wood procurement. order to save operation minimize costs operation, logging operators make difficult decision on suitable tools debarking. purpose this study determine procedure helps select appropriate in-stand timber logs. addition axe C-Debarker, traditionally debarking, recently developed B-Debarker has evaluated terms various criteria compared with other methods. multi-criteria analysis, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) describe tool. set are based technically appropriate, economically viable, environmentally friendly, socially acceptable operation. While application potential C-Debarker high operational efficiency, offers ergonomics. On hand, it determined preferable ease use accessibility.
